Privacy Policy

All data is stored locally on your device using an embedded SQLite database. MoodArc does not operate any servers, cloud infrastructure, or remote databases. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or back it up.

The App stores the following information on your device:

• Mood entries — mood scores, timestamps, and dates
• Energy & sleep — energy level and sleep quality ratings
• Custom scales — user-defined tracking scales (e.g. focus, anxiety, pain) and their values
• Activities — activity tags you select or create
• Emotions — emotion tags you select during check-ins
• Journal notes — free-text notes you write during check-ins
• Treatments & medications — supplement, medication, and condition names, usage periods, onset timing, and correlations
• App settings — your preferences (theme, reminders, mood scale, premium status, etc.)
• Streak & achievement data — check-in counts, streak length, unlocked achievements

None of this data is transmitted to any server, analytics service, or third party.

If you choose to enable Google Drive backup, the App will:

• Store a copy of your data in your own Google Drive account (in the App's private appDataFolder)
• Access only the App's own folder in your Drive (limited scope)
• Perform backups when you manually trigger them or via auto-backup (which maintains a single file, updated on each check-in)

This data goes directly from your device to your Google Drive account. MoodArc does not have access to your backup files outside of the App. You can delete backups at any time from your Google Drive.

MoodArc offers an optional one-time premium upgrade (“MoodArc Pro”) that unlocks additional features. This purchase is processed through Google Play via RevenueCat, a purchase management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data to manage entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any mood/health data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details. MoodArc does not collect, store, or have access to any payment information.

MoodArc includes one third-party SDK:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app purchase entitlements. Receives only anonymous user IDs and purchase events. Does not access mood data, journal entries, or any health information.

MoodArc does not include:

• Analytics or tracking SDKs
• Advertising networks or ad identifiers
• Crash reporting services
• Social media integrations

MoodArc does not require or collect:

• Email addresses
• Names or usernames
• Phone numbers
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Any personally identifiable information

There is no account system. The App works entirely without sign-up or login.

You have full control over your data:

• Export — Export all your data as JSON or CSV at any time from Settings
• PDF Reports — Generate reports for any time period
• Delete entries — Delete individual mood entries from the History screen
• Delete all data — Uninstalling the App removes all stored data from your device
• Delete backups — Remove Google Drive backups directly from your Drive

MoodArc does not share your data with any third party. There are no partnerships, data sales, or analytics agreements. Your mood data, journal entries, and personal reflections remain entirely under your control.

MoodArc does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user. Since all data is stored locally and no information is transmitted, there is no mechanism for data collection from any age group.

• All data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device
• App lock with biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) is available to prevent unauthorized access
• Google Drive backups are stored in your private Drive account
• No data is transmitted over the network (except user-initiated Drive backup)

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at the same URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
